This is our favorite campground we have stayed at so far. The owners were nice and helpful. The sites were wooded and private. The bathrooms/showers are a bit dated but are free. The only thing I wish they had was an outside pool. Sure it's great when it's raining or cold but when it is hot it just feels gross. They have hay rides and make your own sundaes. The store has a lot of goods but not a lot of food. There is a store close by though. I loved the quietness of the campground very family friendly
We were very upset with this campground. Not very family friendly a ton of swearing and drinking going on all weekend. Very loud with no privacy and no shade. We have three children under ten and I was embarrased by what they saw and heard. Do you really need beer at the playground? It was a bunch of grown men and a few women acting like they were at a keg party. All starting at about 10:30 in the morning and ending whenever they passed out. The staff never did anything about it. I will never go back here again and will never recommend it to anyone.
Last year I spent a lot of time online looking for the perfect campground and thought I found it here. The pictures are very misleading. We pulled in and I was in disbelief. They had a handy house for an extra bathroom. Yuck. The site they gave us was on a hill and we had to circle around a couple of times to get the angle right because the sites are so small and the roads are so narrow you can't put your car on your own site you need to park in the road. In fact when we got there we hade to wait for two other cars to be removed from our site. The sites were so close it was awful. Finally I made my husband get our money back. They were good about it and only kept a ten dollar fee. I won't go back here.
